The palace was built as a city hall back in The Golden days in the 17th century. By the time the palace was built, the Netherland had a foreign king from Spain and the people built the city hall looking like a palace to show that they as a people, were just as important as a foreign king.

Koninklijk Paleis Amsterdam

The museum is devoted to the fine arts, arts and crafts and the history of the country. It is the most important museum of The Netherland in term of visitors and work of art. The date of the inauguration of the museum was the 31 may of 1800 in La Haye, but in 1808 Louis Bonaparte moved the museum to Amsterdam.

Rijksmuseum

The Vondelpark is the largest and most famous park in Amsterdam. About 10 million people visit this park every year, and many outdoor events takes place here. The park received the status of a state monument at the very end of the 20th-century.

Vondelpark

Rembrandt painted the painting for a shooting company. That is also the reason why the painting is called: &ldquo;The Shooting Company of Frans Banning Cocq and Willem van Ruytenburch&rdquo;.

The Night Watch

&nbsp;On this tour, we will first of all go on a canal tour. After that, we'll visit the Royal Palace, then the Rijksmuseum. In the Rijksmuseum we will talk about the worldfamous painting 'The Night's Watch' made by Rembrandt van Rijn. Finally we will visit the Vondelpark.&nbsp;
