Domsheide

Thereafter, please cross the “Domsheide” on the left to reach the “Glocke” (bell), a concert and event hall with excellent acoustics. The lobby and hall are executed in Art-Deco Style and the Große Saal (great hall) with a capacity of 1400 seats features an impressive organ. Look up at the “Haus der Glocke” and admire the beautiful figurine frieze above the entrance and the lovely façade with a stepped gable.
This 15th century building was formerly a part of the dome foundation and it was also used for court proceedings after 1648.
